Dr. Ameya M. Sawarkar

Dr. Ameya Sawarkar is a fellowship-trained arthroscopy and sports injury surgeon with a focused expertise in minimally invasive procedures of the knee, shoulder, and ankle joints. Known for his patient-centric approach and surgical precision, Dr. Sawarkar combines international training with cutting-edge techniques to deliver world-class orthopaedic care in Nagpur.

He has completed advanced fellowships in Shoulder Arthroscopy from Quirón Dexeus University Hospital, Barcelona, Spain, and a prestigious AO Trauma Fellowship at BG Klinik Tübingen, Germany, further refining his skills in managing complex joint injuries and trauma cases.

Formerly an Assistant Professor in Orthopaedics at NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr. Sawarkar is also deeply committed to education and regularly serves as faculty in cadaveric and hands-on surgical workshops. His clinical interests include:
